John Mwangi also popularly known to his friends as MJ leaves to the United Kingdom on the eve of 5th Sept 2014 for postgraduate studies thanks to Tullow Group Scholarship program.
This scholarship will see him study a degree in Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain management at the University of Portsmouth, UK.
John is among 34 Kenyans who have been awarded Scholarships to study postgraduate degrees in various universities in the UK,
He is also among the 100 scholars from 8 African and South American countries who will benefit from the Tullow Group Scholarship Scheme this year.
Last weekend MJ hosted a grand farewell party which was attended by both relatives and friends.Among the attendees were Mackel Tisa(Business Consultant),
Miss I(Top 40 under 40 woman in Kenya),Steve Kiilu, Merveilleux Marvin(Android Developer) and Karen Munanda just but to mention a few.
In his speech,Mj is thankful to God for aligning him with great people in his life that have challenged him and his way of thinking. He is indebted to his friends that stood by him, guiding him, mentoring him and
showing him love. “But above all I want to thank God for all these. He has lifted me from glory to glory and from strength to strength. Indeed to God be the glory,” he said.
